Hollanda Hayvanları Koruma Partisi, Meclis Görüşmelerine Başkanlık Etti
6 Haziran günü PvdD milletvekili Esther Ouwehand Meclis toplantısına başkanlık etti. Dünyada ilk defa hayvan hakları savunucusu bir parti, bir meclis toplantısını başkan yardımcısı olarak yönetti.
Hollanda Meclis Başkanı’nın görevi tartışmaları yönetmek, başlangıç ve kapanış toplantılarına karar vermek ve tartışmalar sırasında kimin söz alacağını belirlemektir. Milletvekilleri birbirleri ile direkt olarak konuşmazlar, bunu meclis başkanı aracılığı ile yaparlar. Böylelikle mecliste ateşli ve kişisel tartışmaların önüne geçilmiş olunur.

The Hague, 06 June 2017 | Member of Parliament Esther Ouwehand chaired the parliamentary debates in the Dutch Lower House today. Being the deputy Speaker of a national parliament is a global premier for any member of an animal welfare party worldwide.
The Dutch Speaker of the House of Representatives leads the parliamentary debates of the House, which includes opening and closing the meetings and determining who speaks during the debate. Members of the House and government representatives never speak directly to each other but always through a Speaker. This way, the House avoids heated and personal debates between members.
