Worldlog Semana 08 – 2011

Como na semana passada esta semana também foi repleta de atividades para a campanha das eleições provinciais.

Sexta-feira fui a duas cidadezinhas nos estados Holanda do Sul e a Holanda do Norte trabalhei numa campanha contra a mega habitação de animais. E entre essas atividades dei várias entrevistas, incluindo uma com a alemã Der Spiegel sobre o Partido para os Animais. Abaixo uma imagem da nossa ação no sul da Holanda.

E a imagem de um colador de propagandas super fanático de Brabante do Norte. A placa eleitoral está em seu próprio jardim!

Na terça-feira, dei várias entrevistas de rádio e estive ocupada filmando filmes para a eleição que estão desde sexta-feira online É em holandês, mas as imagens dizem por si mesma.

Também estive na segunda-feira 21 fevereiro faendo umaa campanha de um operação de protesto na província de Overijssel contra a caça ao ganso . Primeiro, eu e nosso líder do partido em Overijssel demos simbolicamente um saco de sementes de trevo branco para o vereador Cor van den Berg, da cidade Wijhe-Olst como alternativa amigável à caça do ganso. O trevo branco é uma tem um alto teor de proteína e é muito atraente para os gansos. A intenção é que os gansos através do trevo branco deixem as colheitas e os campos agrícolas de lado. Além de oferecer a bolsa de trevo, colocamos uma placa especial de ganso no sinal municipal Olst-Wijhe. A Holanda tem uma responsabilidade internacional na área de migração e invernada de gansos e wigeon. O retorno do ganso como um sucesso reprodutivo da natureza deve ser valorizado!

Uma pesquisa realizada pelo instituto de pesquisas Maurice de Hond (encomendado pela organização de proteção dos animais WSPA) mostram que aproximadamente um quarto de todas a questões do bem-estar dos holandeses "substancialmente a peso adequado" determinará o seu voto nas eleições para as assembléias provinciais. Esperamos que isso afete o número de cadeiras que teremos para os animais, natureza e meio ambiente.

O ex-ministro do Meio Ambiente do VVD, Pieter Winsemius e o ex-ministro da Agricultura e da Natureza do partido CDA Cees Veerman, têm chamado a atenção nesta eleição por não votarem em seus próprios partidos por causa da natureza política desastrosa deste governo. Na verdade, os eleitores holandeses tem uma oportunidade de expressar a sua escolha de incentivo verde para deixar claro: escolhendo Partido para os Animais!

This week we are again enormously busy with campaign activities for the Provincial State elections.
In this Worldlog an impression of the activities!

On Friday, I went to two villages in the provinces of South-Holland and North Holland to join protests against mega stalls. And I also gave several interviews, including one to German magazine Der Spiegel, in which I spoke about the Party for the Animals. Below is a photograph of our demonstration in South-Holland.

And one photograph of a super fanatic billposter from the province of North-Brabant. The election sign is in his own garden!

On Tuesday I gave a number of radio interviews and I made the recordings for the election film which has been online since Friday: www.youtube.com/watch. The film is in Dutch but the images speak for themselves.

On Monday 21 February I attended a campaign demonstration in the province of Overijssel against the goose hunt. Together with our party leader for the province of Overijssel, I first symbolically offered a bag of white clover seed to alderman Cor van den Berg of the municipality of Olst-Wijhe as an animal-friendly alternative to the goose hunt. White clover is high in protein and geese love it. The idea is that the geese will leave the farmers’ crops alone and eat the while clover instead. A special goose sign was also erected next to the sign indicating the municipality of Olst-Wijhe. The Netherlands bears international responsibility as an area through which geese and widgeons traverse and overwinter. The return of the goose to the Netherlands as a summer bird is a nature policy success that we can be proud of!

According to research carried out by pollster Maurice de Hond (under the authority of animal-welfare organization WSPA), for nearly one quarter of all Dutch people, the issue of animal welfare will be a ‘considerable factor’ when deciding who to vote for in the Provincial State elections. Let’s hope that this has an effect on the number of seats we are able to win on behalf of animals, nature and the environment.

Ex-minister of the environment Pieter Winsemius (VVD) and ex-minister of agriculture and nature Cees Veerman (CDA) have asked for their own parties to be boycotted during the upcoming elections owing to the disastrous nature policy of this government. In fact, Dutch voters have but one option to express their green ambitions: the Party for the Animals!
