O Partido dos Animais preside a Câmara dos deputados na Holanda
No dia 6 de junho, membra do parlamento para o Partido dos Animais, Esther Ouwehand, presidiu os debates parlamentares na Câmara dos Deputados. Sendo este cargo nunca ocupado por nenhum outro membro de qualquer partido político no mundo que tem como objetivo principal o bem-estar dos animais.
O presidente da Câmara dos Deputados na Holanda lidera os debates parlamentares na Câmara, que inclui a abertura e encerramento das reuniões e a determinação de quem fala durante o debate. Os deputados da Câmara e os representantes do governo nunca falam diretamente uns com os outros, mas sempre com um orador. Desta forma, a Casa evita debates aquecidos e pessoais entre seus membros.

The Dutch Speaker of the House of Representatives leads the parliamentary debates of the House, which includes opening and closing the meetings and determining who speaks during the debate. Members of the House and government representatives never speak directly to each other but always through a Speaker. This way, the House avoids heated and personal debates between members.

The Party for the Animals is the first political party in the world that does not put the short-term interests of man in the pivotal position, but the entire planet and all her inhabitants instead.
The Party for the Animals forms an integral part of an international and growing movement of people and parties working for the rights of animals, nature and the environment in politics and public administration.
