Gli accordo di libero scambio TTIP e CETA sepolti in modo festoso

Mille persone, tra cui molti membri del Partito per gli Animali ed il presidente del gruppo frazione Johnas van Lammeren della frazione di Amsterdam del PvdD hanno sepolto simbolicamente sabato 31 maggio ad Amsterdam gli accordi di libero scambio TTIP e CETA. Il funerale festoso di TTIP e CETA era una protesta contro gli controversi accordi commerciali che sono una minaccia per la democrazia, il benessere degli animali, l’ambiente e la salute pubblica.

Il Partito per gli Animali prende da tempo un ruolo guida nella protesta contro TTIP e CETA, gli accordi commerciali tra Europa e America e Canada. Certamente in materia di agricoltura e cibo questo accordo avrà implicazioni divasta portata per l’ambiente, benessere degli animali, la salute pubblica e la libertà di scelta dei consumatori. L’armonizzazione delle norme di prodotto e le norme di sicurezza all’interno di questi accordi di libero scambio porterà ad una situazione che le norme europee, tra altre, riguardante l’ambiente ed il benessere benessere degli animali saranno abbassate. Il Partito per gli Animali chiede il governo di fermare i negoziati sul TTIP e annullare l’entrata in vigore del CETA.

The harmonisation of product standards and safety regulations within these free trade agreements will lead to the deterioration of the European standards for the environment and animal welfare among others. The Party for the Animals calls on the government to end the negotiations on TTIP and to annul the CETA.
