Partido para os Animais na manifestação em massa contra touradas
A euro-parlamentária para o PpoA Anja Hazekamp visitou no fim de semana de 10 de setembro uma manifestação em massa contra touradas e corridas de touros em Madrid. Na Puerta del Sol, uma praça central em Madrid, a Hazekamp dirigiu a palavra para mais que cem mil activistas: “Hoje mostramos ao mundo que nenhum animal merece morrer para divertimento durante eventos cruéis. Nós mostramos aqui que podemos fazer festa sem torturar um animal. Juntos nós podemos e iremos parar isto!”
A manifestação ‘Misión Abolición’ foi organizada por PACMA, o partido para os animais espanhol. Além dos partidos para os animais holandês e espanhol também esteve presente o partido irmão português PAN com o parlamentário André Silva.
Os manifestantes querem acabar com todos os eventos onde touros são caçados, feridos, queimados vivos ou mortos numa arena.
On 10 September, Party for the Animals MEP Anja Hazekamp attended a mass demonstration against bullfighting and bull running in Madrid. On the Puerta del Sol, the central square in Madrid, Hazekamp addressed hundreds of thousands of activists: “Today we show the world that no animal deserves to die during cruel events for the purpose of entertainment. We will show everyone that we can celebrate without torturing animals. Together, we can and we will put a stop to this!”
The manifestation ‘Misión Abolición’ was organised by PACMA, the Spanish party for the animals. In addition to the Spanish and Dutch Party for the Animals, the Portuguese sister party Partido PAN was also present, represented by MEP André Silva.
The demonstrators want to put an end to all events involving bulls being chased, injured, burned alive or killed in a bullring.
