Nizozemska stranka za životinje postoji već petnaest godina. Mala grupa ljudi je 28. listopada 2002. godine odlučila osnovati kao prva na svijetu političku stranku kojoj je glavni fokus ne samo na jednog čovjeka, već na cijeli planet i sve njene stanovnike. Petnaest godina kasnije, stranka za životinje postala je najveći nizozemski izvozni proizvod novog političkog razmišljanja.
Stranka za životinje slavi na prvim izborima
Od osnutka Stranke za životinje nastao je globalni rastući pokret koji se zalaže za prekogranične interese životinja, prirode i okoliša. U međuvremenu, na svijetu ima 18 istovjetnih političkih stranaka, a taj broj i dalje raste.
Stranka također ubrzano raste u Nizozemskoj. U Zastupničkom domu u ožujku ove godine, PvdD je porasla s dva na pet zastupničkih mjesta. To povećanje od čak 150% bilo je popraćeno velikim brojem novih članova. PvdD je zabilježila porast od 12.000 do 15.000 članova. Svi zabrinuti građani vide da je krajnje vrijeme da drugačije uredimo svijet.
Za predstojeće općinske izbore, PvdD sudjeluje u 19 općina. Stranka je već zastupljena u 12 od tih općina. Ako se pita PvdD-a, ovaj će se broj opsežno proširiti, naravno uz opreznost da stranka ne postane opći fijasko.
This year marks the Dutch Party for the Animals’ 15th anniversary. On 28 October 2002, a small group of people decided to be the first in the world to found a political party representing not human interests, but the interests of the entire planet and all its inhabitants. Fifteen years later, the Party for the Animals has grown to be the Netherlands’ most prominent advocate of a new political ideology.
Party for the Animals team celebrates first elections
From the beginning, the creation of the Party for the Animals has led to a growing global movement working for the cross-border interests of animals, nature and the environment in politics. There are now 18 like-minded political parties worldwide and the number continues to grow.
Also in the Netherlands, the Party for the Animals is growing rapidly. The party went from two to five seats in Parliament in the general elections in March this year. This increase of no less than 150% was accompanied by a strong inflow of new members: from 12,000 to 15,000. More and more concerned citizens realise that the time has come to restructure the world.
In the coming municipal elections, the Party for the Animals will participate in 19 municipalities, including 12 in which the party is already represented. If it is up to the PftA, this number will be greatly expanded, while at the same time making sure that this growth is sustainable.
