Use of personal data

When you use our service, we obtain certain data from you that may be personal data. We only keep and use the personal data provided by you directly, within the framework of the service you request, or where it is clear that they have been provided to us to be processed.

  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • Payment details

Retention period

We keep your data for a maximum period of 14 months if you are a customer with the Animal Politics Foundation.

Application letters and CVs will be removed after a maximum of 4 weeks after finishing the application and selection procedure (or kept for a maximum of 1 year with the applicant’s permission).

Registration

Certain parts of our service require you to register first. Following registration we will keep the personal data provided by you through the username chosen. We keep this data so that you do not have to re-enter it every time and so that we can contact you within the context of the execution of the agreement, invoicing and payment, and to provide an overview of the products and services you have purchased from us. We will not provide the data linked to your username to third parties, unless this is required for the execution of the agreement you concluded with us or if this is required by law. In the event of suspected fraud or misuse of our website, we may provide personal data to the competent authorities.

Publication

We will not publish your data.

Providing data to third parties

Your data will explicitly not be provided to third parties. Partners who process data on our behalf are based within the EU. Agreements have been concluded with these partners to safeguard your privacy. Our website includes social media. These are used to enable the administrators of these services to collect your personal data.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyse how visitors use our website. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google to agree on the handling of our data. In addition, we have not permitted Google to use the analytics data obtained for other Google services. Finally, we will have the IP addresses anonymised.

Social media

We use Facebook and Twitter buttons on our website to make social media messages accessible to a greater public. If you accept the cookies on our website, you accept that Facebook/Twitter can track you.

Security

We take security measures to limit abuse of and unauthorised access to personal data. In particular, we take the following measures:
