Duitse partij voor de dieren organiseert massaprotest tegen vee-industrie
De Duitse partij voor de dieren, Partei Mensch Umwelt Tierschutz (kortweg: Tierschutzpartei), zal op 19 augustus in Frankfurt/Main een groot protest organiseren tegen de vee-industrie. Daarmee wil de partij het volk mobiliseren om de regering en de samenleving wakker te schudden en in actie te laten komen tegen het massale dierenleed in de intensieve veehouderij.
De partij vraagt niet alleen aandacht voor het dierenleed in de vee-industrie (bijvoorbeeld verminkingen zonder verdoving en legbatterijen), maar ook voor de gevaarlijke gevolgen van de intensieve veehouderij voor de mens. Deze vee-industrie draagt immers bij aan de stijging van de zeespiegel, honger in de wereld, vernietiging van bossen, resistentie tegen antibiotica en vervuiling.
De Tierschutzpartei roept iedereen op om te komen. Ze benadrukken echter dat rechts-extremistische ideologieën niet welkom zijn tijdens de demonstratie. Iedereen die met symbolen of ander materiaal van extreem rechtse groepen zoals de NPD, AfD en Pegida wordt gezien, zal worden verzocht om weg te gaan.

The German party for the animals, Partei Mensch Umwelt Tierschutz (for short: Tierschutzpartei), is organising a great protest against the livestock industry to be held on 19 August in Frankfurt/Main. With this protest, the party wants to mobilise people to awaken the government and society to take action against the mass animal suffering in intensive animal farming.
The party does not prompt attention for animal suffering in the livestock industry only (i.e. mutilation without anaestesia and battery cages) but also for the dangerous consequences of the intensive animal farming for people. After all, this livestock industry is contributing to the rise of the sea level, global hunger, destruction of forests, resistance against antibiotics, and pollution.
The Tierschutzpartei calls on everyone to join. However, they emphasise that extreme right ideologies are not welcome during the demonstration. Everyone seen carrying symbols or other materials of extreme right groups such as the NPD, AfD and Pegida will be asked to leave.
