Resistenza crescente: partito portoghese per gli animali raggiunge seggio nel parlamento nazionale
PAN, il partito portoghese per gli animali, ha vinto un seggio nel parlamento nazionale domenica il 4 ottobre!PAN e’ quindi il secondo partito politico nel mondo che tutela in primo luogo gli animali, la natura e l’ambiente con una rappresentanza nel parlamento nazionale. Il Partito per gli Animali fa gli auguri a PAN per il loro seggio! Questo successo da un forte segnale ai partiti tradizionali: C’e’ molto bisogno di cambiamenti.
Oltre 74.000 portoghesi votarono il 4 ottobre per PAN (Pessoas – Animais – Natureza, cioe’ Uomini – Animali – Natura). Cosi’ e’ stato eletto Andre’ Silva come deputato con 1.39% dei voti. Prima la PAN raggiunse gia’ dei seggi nei comuni, ma ora che hanno anche un seggio parlamentare, potranno rappresentare gli interessi degli animali, la natura e l’ambiente a livello nazionale. La vittoria di PAN e’ uno sviluppo importante per gli animali e anche per la gente in Portogallo.
L’esito dimostra una crescita del movimento mondiale di gente che ha bisogno di un’onda politica che non dia priorita’ agli interessi dell’uomo a breve termine, ma invece il pianeta con tutti i suoi abitanti. Dall’erezione del Partito per gli Animali nel 2002 sono stati fondati anche altri partiti per gli animali, tra l’altro nel Regno Unito, Brasile, Spagna, Portogallo, Germania, Svezia, Finlandia, Italia, Francia, Turchia, Austria, Svizzera, Danimarca, Stati uniti, Australia e Canada.

On Sunday 4 October, PAN, the Portuguese party for the animals, won a seat in national Parliament! This makes PAN the second political party in the world to protect primarily the interests of animals, nature and the environment with a representative in national Parliament. The Party for the Animals congratulate PAN wholeheartedly on their seat! This success conveys a strong signal to traditional parties: change is badly needed.
On World Animal Day, more than 74,000 Portuguese voted for PAN (Pessoas – Animais – Natureza, i.e., People – Animals – Nature). With 1.39% of the votes, this made André Silva elected deputado. PAN already obtained seats in municipal councils before, but their seat in Parliament allows the party to protect the interests of animals, nature and the environment at a national level as well. The success of PAN is a major development for animals as well as people in Portugal.
The outcome illustrates the growth of the worldwide movement of people who feel the need for a political movement that does not focus primarily on the short-term interests of people, but on the planet with all of its inhabitants. Since the foundation of the Party for the Animals in 2002, parties for animals have been founded or are in formation in other countries as well, including the United Kingdom, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Italy, France, Turkey, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, the United States, Australia and Canada.
