Pacma alcança 30% mais votos para o Congresso do que o final de 2015

Pacma re-escreve a história nas eleições nacionais no domingo 26 de junho. Com um número sem precedentes de mais de 284.000 votos para o Congresso e 1.200.000 votos para o Senado, o partido ultrapassou em muito o resultado de Dezembro de 2015.

Apesar do grande número de votos o partido não receberá assentos no parlamento ou Senado – sem precedentes na história parlamentar espanhola. Isto aconteceu devido à forma como do sistema eleitoral e distritos eleitorais em Espanha. Pacma, portanto, cometeu um ato em que cada voto vale o mesmo, e com urgência apela aos partidos que ganharam um lugar para lançar uma reforma da lei eleitoral espanhola.

No entanto, este resultado mostra mais uma vez que Pacma está crescendo, significado político imparável, e também na Espanha, muitas pessoas dão seu voto a um partido que não se concentra principalmente em interesses de curto prazo das pessoas, mas que se levanta para os animais, meio ambiente e justiça social.

Nas próximas eleições europeias, o resultado será que Pacma representará no Parlamento Europeu, o que seria um marco na história dos direitos dos animais em Espanha.

PACMA writes history again in the national elections of Sunday the 26th of June. With an unprecedented number of over 284,000 votes for the Congress and 1,200,000 votes for the Senate, the party has largely exceeded the result of December 2015.

Despite the large number of votes, the party is not awarded any seats in the parliament – unprecedented in Spanish parliamentary history. This is because of how the electoral system and the electoral district work in Spain. PACMA is therefore aiming for a law in which every vote is worth the same and it urges the parties which were given a seat to start reforming the Spanish electoral law.

But this result has again shown that PACMA is growing unstoppably and that also in Spain many people vote for a party that is not in the first instance focussed on short-term human interest, but that stands up for animals, the environment and social justice.

In the next European elections this result would mean that PACMA will be represented in the European Parliament, which would be a milestone in the history of animals rights in Spain.
