Un bel successo dei nostri consiglieri comunali di Amsterdam: il comune di Amsterdam chiederà ai negozi di moda di non più vendere pellicce di animali a partire da quest’autunno. Questo dopo aver seguito una mozione della nostra frazione nel consiglio comunale che chiesto di fare ciò.
Il comune di Amsterdam farà un appello morale ai negozi di moda per non vendere più pellicce. Inoltre, il comune vuole che i negozi che non vendono più pellicce chiama a presentarsi a questo punto più chiara verso l’Amsterdam dello shopping. Buon inizio dell’anno parlamentare!

Grazie alla sua dichiarazione “Animali non sono stati fatti per l’uomo più che le persone di colore sono state fatte per le persone bianche, o le donne creati per gli uomini” e il suo bell’appello contro la guerra Alice Walker è certamente un buon candidato per ricevere anche un nostro certificato.
La settimana scorsa ho registrato due video di supporto per la nostra sorella partito PAN in Portogallo. A fine settembre ci sono le elezioni comunali in Portogallo e PAN partecipa in due comuni. Per dare loro una mano, ho registrato un video messaggio. Auguro Pan buona fortuna e spero che otteniamo a livello internazionale più rappresentanti che si impegnano per gli animali, la natura e l’ambiente!
Negli USA si sta lavorando duo a un film sulle “fabbriche di cuccioli”. Il film “Days of Power” è pensato per informare la gente del terribile stato delle cose nel commercio illegale dei cani. Qui potete vedere il trailer.

A great success of our Amsterdam council party group: the Amsterdam Municipal Council is going to call on fashion shops to stop selling the fur of fur bearing animals starting this autumn. This is the result of a motion called for by our council party group.
The Amsterdam municipal council will make a moral appeal to fashion shops to no longer sell fur. Additionally, the municipal council will call on shops that do not sell fur to more clearly profile themselves as such towards people shopping in Amsterdam. A good start of the parliamentary year!

Because of Alice Walkers’ statement saying that ‘Animals were not made for humans more than black people were made for white, or women created for men’ and her pleadings against war, she is certainly a good candidate for receiving an award from us.
Last week, two support films were recorded for our sister party in Portugal. There will be municipal elections in Portugal at the end of September and PAN is participating in two municipalities. I sent them a video message to give them a little support. I wish PAN great success and hope that we will get more people’s representatives on an international level, who will use their best endeavours for animals, nature and environment!
In the United States they are working hard on a film about ‘puppy mills’. The film Days of Power is intended to show people the dreadful course of events in mala fide commercial dog trade. Here you can watch the trailer.
We should all have a look at this touching film of a gorilla who was reunited with the man who saved him.
