Taking Political Activism to the Next Level - Animal Politics World Conference 2022

How to speed up positive change for our planet and all its inhabitants? This Animal Politics World Conference gathers experts, politicians, and activists in EU-capital Brussels, to share their knowledge about (political) activism for climate, nature, animals, and a liveable planet and to offer practical examples of grass-roots initiatives from all over the world. Join us in Brussels or through the live stream online!

Speeding up positive change for a liveable planet

Recent scientific reports confirm that nothing less than a viable future on this planet is at stake. Still, current political leaders worldwide are not taking the action that is needed. To solve the urgent challenges we face today, we need to change politics, and invest in solutions for tomorrow.

Alongside increasing citizen engagement and (legal) activism, politics plays an important part in creating necessary change. This conference explores how to accelerate positive change and how to join hands in safeguarding a liveable planet.

Check out the full programme with two days of lectures, practical trainings and panel sessions by speakers and participants from all over the world – including MEP Anja Hazekamp; ‘Practivism’ and citizen engagement expert Eva Rovers; and speakers on climate lawsuits, activism and citizen engagement from Ukraine, Tunisia, Portugal, Poland, Kurdistan, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Serbia, and the UK.

Hands-on training for participants will be provided by campaign accelerator Sean Currie, ethical story telling expert David Labi, fundraising specialist Rick Holland and movement builders Job van den Assem and Mark Westcombe.
