Stranka za životinje veliki pobjednik na općinskim izborima u Nizozemskoj
The Dutch Party for the Animals enjoyed a dramatic growth in last week’s municipal elections, gaining a number of 33 seats, thereby nearly tripling its number of seats on local councils.
Party for the Animals team celebrates victory in elections
The Party for the Animals gained seats in every municipality in which it participated. In a few municipalities, the party even tripled in size.
Marianne Thieme: “The outcome of the general elections already showed a doubling of seats for the party for the Animals. This trend has continued with the municipal elections! More and more voters want to end this Stone Age and the large-scale environmental degradation. We will be the green anchor in all municipalities in which we took part, in the opposition or the coalition.”
Just before the municipal elections took place, council member and head of the Party for the Animals in Amsterdam Johnas van Lammeren was elected Best Council Member in the Netherlands. He was competing against hundreds of other candidates from different Dutch political parties. During the ceremony the jury said: “Van Lammeren is praised by many for his work. He is not only a man of ideas, he brings those ideas to life in the council.” In the past years, Van Lammeren has pushed through dozens of plans in the local council on his own, showing everyone that even the smallest political party can make a change.
S čak 33 osvojenih mjesta na općinskim izborima, nizozemska je Stranka za životinje na lokalnim izborima prošlog tjedna doživjela ogroman porast, te gotovo utrostručila broj zastupnika na općinskoj razini.
PvdD tim slavi povodom izborne pobjede
U svim je općinama gdje je Stranka za životinje sudjelovala, osvojila zastupnička mjesta. U pojedinim općinama je stranka čak trostruko narasla.
Marianne Thieme: “Rezultati na državnim izborima pokazali su da je Stranka za životinje udvostručila broj zastupnika. Ovaj se trend nastavlja i na općinskoj razini! Sve više birača žele okončati kameno doba i krenuti ka zelenoj budućnosti. Mi ćemo biti zeleno sidro u svim općinama u kojima smo sudjelovali, u opoziciji ili koaliciji.”
Malo prije općinskih izbora je Johnas van Lammeren, član uprave i čelnik Stranke za životinje u Amsterdamu, odabran za najboljeg člana gradskog vijeća u Nizozemskoj. Među stotinama drugih kandidata iz različitih stranaka, on je došao prvi. Prilikom izjave za novinare žiri je izjavio o van Lammerenu: “Van Lammeren je vrlo hvaljen za svoj posao. On nije samo jedan čovjek od ideja, nego i oživljava čitavo gradsko vijeće. Proteklih godina prezentirao je posve sam mnogobrojne planove u gradskom vijeću i tako pokazao da stranka ne mora biti velika kako bi provela promjene”.
