PvdD: Rutte, ponga fin al sufrimiento de millones de animales
El PvdD, único partido que nombra a los animales en el debate de la UE con el presidente
El Partido por los Animales ha pedido a Mark Rutte en el Parlamento Europeo que ponga fin al sufrimiento de millones de animales en Europa. Holanda ocupa en este momento la presidencia de la Unión Europea. Nuestra europarlamentaria Anja Hazekamp quiere que Rutte cumpla la promesa de dar prioridad al bienestar animal durante la presidencia holandesa. El PvdD fue el único partido que pidió atención para la suerte de los animales durante el debate con Rutte.
“¿No sería fantástico que Holanda consiguiera que los perros callejeros rumanos dejen de ser perseguidos y eliminados de forma cruel, que se ponga fin a la castración sin anestesia de cerdos y que se reduzca drásticamente el transporte de animales vivos a través de largas distancias por Europa y más allá de sus fronteras? Para ello, ya tiene usted el apoyo de muchos holandeses, muchos europeos y del Parlamento Europeo” dijo Hazekamp en el debate con Rutte.
El Partido por los Animales criticó además durante el debate la vaguedad de los planes holandeses para la presidencia y la falta de visión para el próximo semestre.
Only the Party for the Animals mentions animals in the EU debate with the Prime Minister
The Party for the Animals has called on Prime Minister Rutte in the European Parliament to stop the suffering of millions of animals in Europe. The Netherlands is currently President of the European Union. MEP Anja Hazekamp wants the Netherlands to fulfil its promise that animal welfare is a first priority for the Dutch presidency. The Party for the Animals was the only party asking for attention for the fate of animals.
“Would it not be wonderful if the Netherlands managed to put a stop to the brutal slaughter of Rumanian stray dogs? Or would be able to ban the unsedated castration of piglets? Or shorten the endless transports of live animals through Europe or even far beyond? You are supported in this by many Dutch citizens, by many European citizens, and by the European Parliament,” Hazekamp said during the debate with Rutte.
The Party for the Animals also criticised the vagueness of the Dutch plans for its presidency and the lack of vision for the next six months.
