Worldlog Semana 7 – 2015
Tenemos un hermoso nuevo logotipo! Diseñado por Thonik, la agencia premiada internacionalmente. Estoy orgullosa de nuestra nueva imagen con una mariposa como logotipo. Vea aquí The Movie sobre el nuevo logotipo.
Hemos escogido una mariposa, porque la mariposa es una creatura que simboliza la naturaleza y el medio ambiente, con lo une los tres pilares del partido: los animales, la naturaleza y el medio ambiente.
Una mariposa representa además la transformación; de oruga a mariposa. Nuestro partido es sinónimo de una transición hacia una sociedad en la que la sostenibilidad, la compasión, la libertad personal y la responsabilidad personal son fundamentales.
Además de la mariposa hay dos imágenes de apoyo que se pueden utilizar en las campañas que de dirigen específicamente a favor o en contra de algo. Las imágenes de apoyo son un corazón y una cruz, que también forman el nuevo logotipo.
Esta semana también lanzamos con ganas la campaña para las Elecciones Provinciales y del Suministro del Agua. En todo el país las provincias iniciaron la campaña con nuestro nuevo logotipo y todos los programas electorales han sido publicados esta semana. Estamos listos!
El senador Niko Koffeman hizo una denuncia en contra un guardia de la cacería de una finca en los Países Bajos. Fue a causa de los disparos y la matanza de la legalmente protegida becada. Los miembros de la combinación de caza Duivenvoorde fueron sorprendidos por un fotógrafo el día 30 de enero cuando estaban cazando en forma ilegal las becadas.
En breve el Parlamento discute la nueva Ley de Naturaleza mediante el cual también se arreglan la cacería por placer y los términos de referencia de los supervisores de la caza. Los supervisores de la caza en Holanda además de operar como supervisores también están encargados de los intereses de su jefe de la caza. Algo que nos parece totalmente indeseable. Es bueno que el juez examine incidentes como informamos por aquí!
La semana pasada fue anunciado que la policía animal se encuentra en serios problemas financieros. Abogamos desde la fundación de nuestro partido por un policía animal. Hace algunos años por fin ha llegado. Sin embargo cada vez es víctima de los recortes. Los policías son de gran importancia para la protección de los seres humanos y los animales. Incluso para los seres humanos, debido a que muchos estudios muestran que existe un fuerte vínculo entre la violencia doméstica y la crueldad animal. Muchos casos de violencia doméstica comienzan con el maltrato de los animales. Si su crueldad animal es detectada de manera oportuna puede prevenir la violencia doméstica.
Para finalizar tenemos unas noticias de nuestra fracción en el Parlamento Europeo. Lamentablemente nuestro representante Anja Hazekamp no logró convencer al presidente del comité Juncker de apurarse en convencer el nuevo presidente de Rumania para parar el maltrato de los perros callejeros en Rumania. En una carta escrita a Anja Juncker informa que los ‘estratégicos problemas económicos’ tenían preferencia en sus discusiones con el presidente de Rumania.
Felizmente Anja no se deja vencer! Más tarde este ano durante una visita de trabajo a Rumania ella va a insistir con las autoridades de ese país en un trato humano de los perros callejeros. Se continua!

We have a beautiful new logo! It was designed by the internationally accredited agency Thonik. I am proud of our new look with a butterfly as a logo symbol. See here The Movie on the new logo.
We have chosen the butterfly because it is the animal that symbolises the environment and nature, the logo bringing together the three pillars of the party: animals, nature and the environment.
Additionally, the butterfly stands for transformation; from caterpillar to butterfly. Our party stands for transition into a community where sustainability, compassion, personal freedom and personal responsibility are central.
In addition to the butterfly, there are two supporting symbols that can be used for campaigns advocating in favour of or against something specific. The supporting symbols consist of a heart and a cross, shapes from which the new logo is constructed.
This week we started with the campaign for the forthcoming Provincial Council and Water Authority elections. All over the country, the provinces launched their campaign with our new logo and all election programmes were published this week. Bring it on!
Senator Niko Koffeman has filed against a game warden of a Dutch country estate for shooting and killing a lawfully protected woodcock. Members of the Duivenvoorde hunting syndicate were caught in the very act by a photographer on the 30th of January during an illegal hunt for woodcocks.
The Lower House will soon discuss the new Natural Law, which also stipulates pleasure hunting and the job description of game wardens. Game wardens in the Netherlands act as supervisor but they also represent the interests of their hunting leader. This is of course absolutely undesirable. It’s a good thing that the Court will consider cases as the above!
Last week, it became known that the animal cops are financially down and out. We have been advocating for animal cops since the founding of our party. They finally arrived some years ago, but their budget continues to be cut. Those cops are very important for the protection of humans and animals. Also for humans, as research showed that there is a strong connection between domestic violence and cruelty to animals. Many domestic violence cases have started off with cruelty to animals. Therefore, if cruelty to animals is detected at an early stage, it may prevent domestic violence.
And here is some news from our European political party. Unfortunately, our European MP Anja Hazekamp did not yet succeed in convincing the Commission President Juncker of the fact that he should engage in initiatives to persuade the new president of Romania to stop the cruelty to Romanian street dogs. In his letter to Anja, Juncker wrote that ‘strategic economic issues’ had priority in his meeting with the Romanian president.
Fortunately, Anja will not give up the fight! Later this year, she will pay a working visit to Romania to urge the authorities to treat the street dogs humanely. Thus to be continued!
