Un hermoso éxito logrado por nuestra fracción de Amsterdam: el municipio de Amsterdam llamará a las tiendas de moda de no vender más las pieles de animales a partir de este otoño. Esto después de haber seguido una moción de nuestro partido.
El municipio de Amsterdam hará un llamado moral hacia las tiendas de moda para no vender más ropa con pieles. Además, el municipio quiere llamar a las tiendas que no vender pieles de presentarse de forma más clara hacia las personas que van de compras en la ciudad de Amsterdam. Un buen comienzo del año parlamentario!

Por su declaración “‘Animals were not made for humans more than black people were made for white, or women created for men’ (Los animales no fueron hechos para los humanos más que a los negros se hicieron para el blanco o las mujeres creadas para los hombres”), y su hermoso alegato contra la guerra ella es sin duda un buena candidato para recibir un premio de nosotros.
La semana pasada grabamos dos videos de apoyo para nuestro partido hermano PAN en Portugal. A finales de septiembre se celebran elecciones municipales en Portugal y el PAN participa en dos municipios. Para darles una mano de ayuda, les he grabado un mensaje de vídeo. Les deseo a Pan buena suerte y espero que tengamos más representantes internacionales que se han comprometido con los animales, la naturaleza y el medio ambiente!
En Los Estados Unidos se está trabajando duro en una película sobre las “fábricas de cachorros”. La película Días de Poder está diseñado para informar a las personas sobre el terrible estado de cosas en el comercio ilegal de perros. Aquí puedes ver el tráiler.
No se pierdan esta película emocional sobre el reencuentro de un gorila con su salvador.

A great success of our Amsterdam council party group: the Amsterdam Municipal Council is going to call on fashion shops to stop selling the fur of fur bearing animals starting this autumn. This is the result of a motion called for by our council party group.
The Amsterdam municipal council will make a moral appeal to fashion shops to no longer sell fur. Additionally, the municipal council will call on shops that do not sell fur to more clearly profile themselves as such towards people shopping in Amsterdam. A good start of the parliamentary year!

Because of Alice Walkers’ statement saying that ‘Animals were not made for humans more than black people were made for white, or women created for men’ and her pleadings against war, she is certainly a good candidate for receiving an award from us.
Last week, two support films were recorded for our sister party in Portugal. There will be municipal elections in Portugal at the end of September and PAN is participating in two municipalities. I sent them a video message to give them a little support. I wish PAN great success and hope that we will get more people’s representatives on an international level, who will use their best endeavours for animals, nature and environment!
In the United States they are working hard on a film about ‘puppy mills’. The film Days of Power is intended to show people the dreadful course of events in mala fide commercial dog trade. Here you can watch the trailer.
We should all have a look at this touching film of a gorilla who was reunited with the man who saved him.
